How is Blackman a key reserve when he doesn't even play and Bleiza isn't?

We can't split these two. These have to be the two we win. Number one, this is a division contender that is one game away, number two each of the following teams to round out the year all have the ability to capitalize on a down denver squad. Andre Miller wants to play well against us, Mike D'Antoni remembers us from the last Suns game in Denver, the Raps need a revenge win against us, and Atlanta is capable of bruising us up some more.
Not saying all of the above equals 6 more losses, just that Portland is a good time to regain balance heading into the end of the year.
Thank god we've got OKC first game of 2009.

Eddie Royal with 71 yards = win
Are the "Nuggettes" really coming out to play on Monday?
Thanks for doing the graphics Shady

Dangit, I just wanted to lurk your boards/thread and I have to be reminded on the Denver Broncos? I am a Blazer fan that just wanted to wish you guys luck, but in the NFL I am one, sad, dissapointed, and worried Broncos fan when it comes to the playoffs.
Anyway, yeah, good luck.

lol Broncos aren't going to the playoffs, Chargers will destroy them in SD and take the 4th seed. Cuddler needs to be traded.

Well yeah that is my stance too. How does Denver blow games against Kansas City (although we always lose to Kansas City at KC), to Oakland (man that pissed me off), and now today against Buffalo? Broncos play down to there opponent far too much and it kind of gets tiring. I know at this point saying Broncos and playoffs is pretty laughable and definitley does not fit.

These will be very important games, since our two teams are tied at the top of the division. The blazers are going in with 3 days rest, however, and as you know, denver is in the middle of 4 games in 5 nights.
Good Luck.

Hey it wasn't Eddie Royal who lost it. Who the * let all that extra yardage on the punt returns?
On any team with any semblance of defense, a 71 yard run would belong to the winning team.
Here's to hard work that the Nuggets will not let these two games slide. Portland is not a team to cruise through.

Both teams are vastly improved since last season so I'm expecting two pretty exciting matchups in this back to back. I expect both teams to play at their best considering what's at stake in the division between Denver and Portland at this point in time. May the best team win!

Good luck.
Personally I think it's a bit cruel of the NBA to schedule Denver on a home-and-home back-to-back for games 3 and 4 of a 4-in-5 against a division rival. If there is ever a time Portland should beat Denver twice, it's now.
I'm expecting each to take their home game though.

Well, the "shoulds" have not been in our favor. Maybe we shouldn't win against Portland.

Carmelo Anthony will miss the next three Nuggets games with a lingering elbow injury.
He's hoping to return Sunday against the Knicks. The elbow has been bothering him for several weeks and this is the last thing his owners needed to see as the Nuggets prepare for a four-game week. Linas Kleiza looks to be the biggest beneficiary in his absence, along with J.R. Smith, and possibly Chris Andersen, Anthony Carter and Dahntay Jones. Dec. 22 - 1:17 pm et

Yes, I know most won't agree with me, but this is a very good thing!!!! Melo has playing S*^%- basketball the last 3 games. No hustle, no defense, very little scoring, and absolutely no presence. So, I think him getting healed up, and letting Balkman, Kleiza, and others play more, is a great thing right now...I wasn't going to watch tonight's game, but with this news I probably will. well, maybe...being a Denver fan in any capacity right now is not a very good thing... Hopefully they will get back to their winning ways tonight.

^^^I agree with you^^^
As a Blazers fan I would much rather have Billups out than Anthony.
This does give the Blazers a better chance to beat the Nuggets though, but I still think they will fall short....especially in Denver.
Good luck this season

I agree that it's good for Melo to take a few games off and get healthy again, but this isn't the best time for that. These next two games are pretty big, and we've been playing like **** lately. We'll be lucky to split this b2b with Portland.

LOL, the Nuggets are off to their best start in literally decades, and the fans are disgruntled. Its not like you have been spoiled by playoff success. Shouldn't you be grateful to have such a good team this year?
