aggravated a wrist injury.
Jan 10 F Josh Howard re-aggravated his left wrist Friday night, leaving the game against the Suns with 9:43 with an apparent sprain. X-rays were negative, but he did not seem encouraged about his chances of playing Sunday at Sacramento. Howard missed two games earlier this season when he sprained the same wrist. He also missed 11 games with a sprained left ankle. Howard seemed to be regaining his form in the last several games, but now must deal with another setback. "Unfortunately, we're on a road trip so we won't be able to get back home for our X-ray machine, but we'll see how it goes," Howard said. "Of course it hurts like hell. I'll have to keep it up above my heart so it won't hurt as much. "But, got to keep moving, got to keep these guys going. It was a tough loss for us. I wish I could have stayed out there."

Dirk has been shooting poorly in the last 3 games.
I believe he is only averaging 15 pts in those games.

Well they didn't exactly give him much praise in that feature article a couple days ago....so I'm sure that has something to do with that.

I really hope Petro is used I reallly want to see something from this guy even though it's doubtful that'll he'll get any minutes... I'm glad JR is getting the start. GO NUGGETS!

. Karl said he intends to find playing time for seldom-used Renaldo Balkman at small forward. He is averaging 13.8 minutes in 23 games.

-- Renaldo Balkman has been practicing more at small forward than power forward since the Nuggets landed Johan Petro.
"He's got to make me more comfortable that he knows the plays and there is a difference of playing inside and outside," said Karl, 
hoping that using Balkman at small forward could get him extra time. Balkman said he's not worried by his sporadic time, saying he'll "root my teammates on" when not playing.

2 guys that were expected to carry the load for Melo (JR and LK) screw it up, but thankfully DJ and Andersen step up and help CB. Nene and AC did decent. And wth was Cuban doing in the middle of the court at the end of the game?

Andersen was awesome tonight. It doesn't get much better than that from him.
Nene was great in the first half, but then got maybe one or two touches in the entire second half.
Again, Kleiza and Jr were terrible. They need to turn things around, fast.
It wasn't pretty but I'll take it. And it's nice to see role players (birdman, dahntay) step in and have big games when no one else is getting it done.
