Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony said his broken right hand is healing nicely and he has his eye on the Jan. 30 home game against Charlotte as a possible return date.

This is who we play between now and January the 30th:
1/17 Home vs. Magic
1/19 at Rockets
1/20 Home vs. Kings
1/25 Home vs. Jazz
1/27 at Grizzlies
1/28 at Hornets
What do you think our record will be in this stretch of games? I am hoping for 3-3 during this stretch of games without Melo.
1/30 Home vs. Bobcats (Melo's return???)

3-3 would be a good aim.
MUST beat the Jazz though... a chance to put a gap in the division.

We've been playing much better than I expected us to once Melo went down. Even with sub-par games, we are still finding ways to win. I would prefer to see Melo take his time and fully heal rather than rush it. With him back and not having to deal with the nagging injuries from earlier this season, this team could be scary.

I think we need 4 out of 6 all though 5 out of 6 would be better. A championship team doesn't balk at going 6-0 ever. I think Chauncey is helping everyone keep their head even though his game isn't always on. This is so huge.
Jazz, Magic and Hornets are statement games.
The rest are....."let's not get embarrassed games" which are equally important to win or at least stay in the game like Houston.
We are currently 5th best record wise, on target for 55 wins. All of the other 4 tops are on target for 65 wins. We don't need 65 wins, but you know in tight games having that cushion lets guys play smoother.
We ain't gonna see on target for 65 wins ourselves unless we win every game until win 50. So, the goal is just maintain a winning style, wait for other teams a come down a bit, and then make noise in the playoffs.
