Cuban posted on his blog that he would donate $25,000 to whatever charity Smith chose.

On Saturday, Cuban posted an update saying he’s waiting to hear back from the Nuggets, but he’s already come up with a backup plan: “I’m going to give the money to the (NHL) Players Association Goals and Dreams Fund in the names of Todd Bertuzzi and Steve Moore.”

I'm a Canucks fan, but I see nothing in the least but funny about Cuban's suggestion. On the plus side as a Blazers fan he is acting quickly to reclaim his title as biggest NBA a-hole exec.

That's a pretty low blow, but I don't think Cuban can sink any lower than he already has.

Thank god JR's "career ending elbow" didn't land.

Cuban's just jealous of Stan the Man and him beating him out for wealthiest American Sports owner. Big difference here was that we had no bounty out on anybodies head, and nothing actually happened whereas someone lost his career in the case of Steve Moore. Ild love to see Cuban say that to any sort of Avs player in person. Dude would get hit so fast he wouldnt know what happened to him.

Let's just come out and say it......

Even if the elbow was thrown, what that self absorbed, classless, dumb a&& piece of f****ng dogs**t "owner" Cuban said deserves a much bigger "fine" than $25K. Bringing the Moore/Bertuzzi incident into this is a direct FU to all Denver sports teams, and a slap in the face to the poor guy who had to go through more than Cuban ever will in his life.

If it were possible, I'd ban his sorry a&& from Colorado entirely. Mr. Cuban, you ain't welcome. I hope the NHL tells you to shove your $25K up your a&&.

Cuban, I used to think you were ok, now I think you're a f**ing prick. I'll be the one screaming in your ear if you ever come out to the Bay area. Just because you have more money doesn't mean you can get away with saying sh*t like that.....

JR is from Newark. If I was him I wouldn't contact Cuban directly but I would just tell the media to cut a check to my hometown school or homeless shelter. Just leave it at that. no smart remark about do it again so i can build a boys and girls club lol. just take his money and do something cool you want to do with it. free money. use it wisely don't ignore it.

For him to bring up the Bertuzzi/Moore incident was classless, PERIOD. He's worse than a douchebag, but the law prevents me from saying what I really think about that prick....

we just want to prevent Cuban from hurting someone if one of his trades goes bad......insider trading can hurt people...sometimes cripples them financially for life......
