Von Wafer is going to light us up.

Book it.

Without Artest and T-Mac, we can win this one. Just make sure we contain Yao and hope that Wafer doesn't go Kobe on us and drops 40.

why? we have the best shot contester in the history of basketball on our team. a guard would never light us up.

Carter, for instance, "is the best guy I've ever coached at shot challenges at the end of games," Karl said. "Best guy I've ever coached. Of all the guys, A.C. gets near the ball, like on Jason Richardson's 3 in overtime, he was perfect. I've seen him get in Dwyane Wade's shots. He's one of the best defensive last-10-seconds players I've ever coached. And no one's going to write that."

I know it sounds odd, but is there a chance that is true for Karl? Who would actually be the best shot defender he has ever coached? Have there ever been any excellent shot defenders on a team of his that he never bothered to coach?

AC must give some pretty damn good blow jobs.
Rocky Mountain News wrote:Seeking a bit of sanity and a defensive edge at the opening tip, Nuggets coach George Karl is considering starting veteran guard Anthony Carter today against the Houston Rockets.

With forward Carmelo Anthony out with a broken right hand for the past five games, Karl has had Kleiza and Smith in the starting lineup, with varying degrees of success.

seriously though...
nate mcmillan was second team all defense for two seasons. ac's better?

kenyon martin was put on kobe because carter couldn't contest his shots. what does that say about karl's statement?

Carter, for instance, "is the best guy I've ever coached at bending over at the end of games," Karl said. "Best guy I've ever been pleasured by. Of all the guys, A.C. tickles the balls, like on Jason Richardson's 3 in overtime, he was perfect. I've seen him get in Dwyane Wade's corn hole. He's one of the best on his knees that I've ever coached. And no one's going to write that."

Yeah, you are right. What does that say about Karl's judgement now? :(

And Nate's a decent coach now, so maybe Karl never really got involved in that one.

I thought Reggie Evans was the best ball handler. I guess now it's a fact that he should never have brought it out on the floor.

Carter, for instance, "Aaaaaceeeeeeeeeee!," Karl said. "Best guy I've ever been pleasured by named Aaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Of all the guys, Aaaaaaceeeeeeeee tickles the balls, like on Jason Richardson's 3 in overtime, he was perfect. A.C. I've seen him get Aaaaaaaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. That was the worst officiating in the entire league, you guys would have won if there were some decent damn refs in the league.

This one hurt, yeah we must win tomorrow night....

Edit: After tomorrow's game we have 4 days off, our next game is vs the Jazz on Sunday. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. We always seem to come out flat when we have a lot of time off....
