I want to see us hold a team to under 90 pts. again. I know 'Melo improved his defense, but there's no way losing him has derailed our play on that end of the court. This is an important game, because beating the average/sub-par teams is what has kept our season afloat. If we start losing games like we did last year, you can write this season off pretty quickly.

This is a must win to get back on track. We need to finish the month off strong, because February is our toughest month of the season. Hopefully Melo can come back and not be too rusty....

he had said in an interview he is keeping cardio up......so as long as he's ready to run he shouldn't take too long to shake the rust off

legs are a big time importance to shooting....so...

Great games from Jr and Kleiza again. Nice to see Chauncey hitting his shots again.

Apparently Dahntay separated his shoulder. Probably wont be ready for Utah on Sunday.

4-3 without 'Melo with six games against +.500 teams. I'm pretty happy with that. Can you believe we're still 11th in the league with a defensive efficiency of 103.2 (Cleveland's the best at 96.8 and Sacramento is the worst at 110.6)? Guess that's just more proof that Hollinger's stats don't make sense most of the time.

I can understand the confusion. Melo always misses some kind of long stretch during Janurary....and two years ago he came back against Memphis. Last year he came back against the Bobcats too(the Memphis game right before was the last one he missed). And in 04-05 he missed a January game on this very day against Memphis.
