This really opens up the West significantly, as the Spurs were the only team other than the Lakers who would really be significant favorites in the postseason. They will still be a formidable team, and I really am hesitant to ever cheer for a player's injury - even one who I dislike as much as Ginobili - but this is pretty much good news for every team in the WC playoff picture...

Without Ginobili they will struggle to make it out of the first round which is very good for the other western conference team. It will be nice to not see them for the Nuggets sake for sure.
