How confident are you Nuggets fans?

That if matched up against Utah in the 1st round you'd advance to the semi's? Now I'm not coming over here to troll I have a ton of respect for your team now that you got rid of canswer (AI) for Billups. When that trade went down I said to myself, Now the NW division just got interesting/competitive.
That being said do you think the Nuggets win the series, and if so how many games will it take. I'm telling you right now the crowd in SLC is going to be out of control and winning a game in Utah would be a feat in itself. Denver has a good HCA as well, I'm just curious to see if you guys think you have a chance of stealing one in Utah.
Should be a good matchup, good luck to you guys but now I've got turn my back and start talking **** on your team.
GO JAZZ

I don't think it's a guaranteed win by any means, but I certainly believe the Nuggets have what it takes to win in Utah. Players like JR and K-mart thrive in hostile situations. Utah is a tough place to play, no doubt, but don't expect a picnic in Denver either. I believe that Denver can win in Utah, but I don't believe Utah will win in Denver. (notice I said they WONT win, not that they can't.)
I think rebounding is my main concern. I'm also worried about players like Boozer and Milsap being motivated by contracts. This is where contracts are earned, so I fully expect both to bring everything they have to the table. This is a team that is much better than their ranking. I much rather play Portland, simply because I know what to expect from them. Utah hasn't been 100% most of the season, so it's tough.
All that said, I expect the Nuggets to take it in 5 or 6. It will be interesting to say the least. Too bad I won't be able to watch much of it because I'm stuck in the police academy at the moment...
Just my two cents.

Im not confident going against any playoff team in the western conference right now because our coach seems lost in the playoffs... But out of the 8 teams I think Utah and New Orleans is the best match up for us... even though we swept the season series with Dallas I'd rather not play them with a healthy Howard and Kidd in the rotation.... Utah's interior defense is horrible, Boozer looks lost out there, and they are an absolute joke on the road... So ya I think we have the best shot at advancing against a very over-rated Jazz team

I have to agree our coach seems lost in the playoffs. Or in a match of chess. Perhaps even checkers. I would have to describe his effort in the past 3 years in the playoffs as similar to setting up a jenga game and failing at it afterward. The tower looks so good, and whoops.
To digress, I really hope we start a 6 game win streak here next Monday.

I don't think you all are should be blaming Karl for much this year. He has them playing better defensively, has allowed JR to play and grow more (yes, I know he's not starting, but he has started some and finished some games and finishing games overall is more important)... Yes, I know GK is not the greatest but he was challenged to win this year and no one thought they would get here to 53 wins even when Chauncey was traded for. This team is a better fit for GK...but that being said, he still has to prove it in the playoffs...as do the players... Carmelo especially, JR, K-mart, Nene too.
Example, when Phil just had Kobe...and just role players...they were just a 7 or 8 seed getting ousted by Phoenix...but once Bynum developed and they got Gasol... wow... Now GK has a true leader and point guard, and the team has bought in. I think the Nuggets (CAN) beat anyone if they play to their at their highest level... (seven game series against the Lakers would be very tough). For the 1st time in a long time, the Nuggets are truly a team. Chauncey is a great leader and is usually very clutch, Melo is the most talented 3 in the western conference, JR is a top 5 "2" and could be #3 behind Kobe and Joe Johnson, Nene has played to the potential many have seen glimspes of in the past and should have been an all-star this year. K-mart is a strong-willed, hard nosed, defensive stalwart and can do some damage on offensive.
You all need to hold the players accountable too. Blaming GK for everything is tired.

No...I don't blame Karl for the great regular season, I blame Chauncey, but Karl doesn't get any of the negative blame for this season either. The one part I am cautious about is Karl during crunch time. His ability to keep a blended rotation for 48 minutes. His ability to anticipate the strategy of the other coach and not just blame it on blind luck when the ball goes in - during games that really count. Give Karl any 10 games during the regular season that don't really matter, and he's a whiz. He will find a way to win at least 7, maybe 8.
Then the spotlight hits.

Right now, I think the Nuggets could steal a game in Utah and take a series in 5 games, 6 at the most. At first I was pulling for Dallas to take over the seventh spot, but with the Jazz's recent woes on the road and Dallas playing great now that their healthy, the Mavs scare me more. I think a Dallas series would go at least 6 games.

How confident are Jazz fans that they will move out of the 8th spot? If they don't move out of it, how confident are they that they can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series?

While I am far from sure, I think the Nuggets could handily beat Utah, in fact we seem to match up pretty well against them, outside of Millsap.

Almost none and less than none.
If we don't play the Lakers, we have a better shot than anyone in the league of upsetting a higher seed.
Having said that, after watching the last few weeks, I'd say we have a 99% of being swept even if we played the 8th seed in the East.
We flatout suck.

The Jazz suck. Look for the Lakers to destroy them tonight just to guarantee a short first round series.

I don't think they are before, but after these two games, they are pretty confident.
I predict they will lose this game 3 to New Orleans.
