Final Roster Predictions

Nuggets Fans,
What do you think your final roster will be? The final 15 players to make the roster once training camp is finished. Please, do not add any free agent or trade speculations, only things that are concrete (Or things you're fairly confident will be done.) Your draft selections obviously aren't automatically on the roster and you can predict that they will be cut or sent to the D-League/Europe if you choose. You can also add UDFA who are playing on your summer league team. So give it a go, who will be your final roster?

It's a bit hard to fill up the rosters without any FA...
The one's around for certain are:
C - Nene / Birdman / Hunter
PF - KMart /
SF - Melo / Balkman
SG - JR / Weems
PG Billups / Lawson
i do not expect any summer league guys to make the cut.

I doubt that the Nuggets will carry a full 15 man roster. I'd guess they go with the minimal requirement of 13.

I'd add Channing Frye behind KMart for the rest of the MLE. I'd like to see them use the TPE, but I think the safe bet is they don't.

Nene/Birdman/Hunter
K-Mart
C. Anthony/Kleiza/Balkman
Smith/Weems/Karl
Billups/Lawson
Think Kleiza just signs his QO and comes back for the year. I have a sneaky feeling that Karl will keep Karl too...
That leaves 1 spot for a big man probably, one that is not on the summer league team.

Karl does not make the roster decisions on who is offered contract, the front office makes those decisions, otherwise Coby would have been with the Nuggets last year.
As for Kleiza, I have now heard the Pacers, Raptors, and Cavs are all interested, which tells me he is either gone through sing and trade or matched and retained.
Nene/Birdman/
K-Mart
C. Anthony/Balkman
Smith/Weems
Billups/Lawson/ Carter
That is how I see the team as currently constructed, I don't see Kleiza back, Carter seems to want to stay and is said to be a favorite of Kroenke, and I think Hunter is gone this summer.

Hey I can try, I am hoping like hell we find someone who is an upgrade to him, that we can get for cheap so I do not think he will be back with he team. Especially since he is supposedly drawing interest from so many teams out there.

Nah, George Karl actually helped negotiate Coby's contract with Juventud last year, so I don't think he actually wanted him here last year. And I'm well aware Karl is not the GM, but he probably has some pull up there, being the coach and all
But I didn't know Kleiza had all that interest. He wouldn't be such a bad fit with the Cavs or Pacers tho imo. But there is still a good chance he is here next year. And Carter may be back like you said, and I hope there is a taker for Hunter this summer, that could be helpful. Maybe that Songaila/Ellington trade or something. That roster needs another big.

After the Nuggets wouldn't add him as Karl wanted.

Nene/Andersen/Hunter
K-Mart/Frye
Melo/Balkman
Parker/Smith/Weems
Billups/Lawson
May not be the most realistic prediction, but I think these moves have a decent chance of happening. S&T LK for Anthony Parker and sign Frye for 3ish million. Add in a d-leaguer in the front-court, and we've got our 13 man minimum.
EDIT: Basketballdario, who is that in your av? Jamie Chung?

Frye is ****. There's a reason why Portland fans all turned against him, and his minutes went from role player to scrub.

Billups/Lawson
JR/(*A)/Weems
Melo/LK/Balkman
KMart/Birdman/Frye
Nene/(*B)
2 scenarios:
First, if Hunter is healthy and can actually play....
*A - I think we use the TPE to fill the SG spot, maybe a S&T for A. Parker with TOR.
*B - I think the FO is content with Hunter here.
Second, if Hunter can not play....
*A - I think this spot gets filled by re-signing DJ, or by trading Hunter for a SG like C. Bell from MILW (at least that's my hope, but I don't know if we can get him).
*B - I think we use the TPE to fill this spot, hopefully for a guy like Foster from IND.

Nets and Celtics also were mentioned in press as interested in Kleiza
As for Songaila, Wizards wanted to include DeShawn Stevenson in that trade, but Timberwolves demanded Songaila.
