Post#1 » by lilconti1511 » Fri Jul 24, 2009 7:36 am

den out- (s&t) linas kleiza renaldo balkman
den in- brandon wright marco bellinelli

why for denver: increase front court depth in wright and add another shooter to spread the floor with smith

gsw out- b wright m bellinelli
gsw in- L kleiza R balkman

why for gsw: add proven proven bench depth and good fits to nelsons

i know i posted this in the main trade forum but wanted some nugget fan opinions

Yes to me... Linas might be the better player than Bellineli and Wright combined now... but their potential is off the charts.

What Wright is not going to be knocked off are his defense, his length, and his energy. He is an improved energy guy version of Balkman. The guy actually has low post moves, he torched us for 20 and 10 I believe in Golden State...

Bellineli might just blossom in a new situation.

if i was GS i wouldn't trade wright. But then again that franchise is run by people with well... questionable knowledge of basketball. so yea i'd definiately take wright as a denver fan.

Rumor I heard is that GS wants to trade both Wright and Bellinelli or they will not pick up next years options, as Nellie does not like Wright, and their backcourt has about a dozen players right now. So they may look at doing something around a guy like Kleiza, or even an expiring and pick for them.
