Hey Denver, Raps Fan Here.
Well, im sure you all know about the Raptor Fanbase and how bad we want Klezia in a raps uniform.
Now just a regular signing wouldnt work out because we could only offer him the minimum. But we still have the rights to SG/SF Carlos Delfino.
How does a sign and trade sound to you guys?

To Toronto
Linas Klezia

To Denver
Carlos Delfino (S&T)
2016 second round draft pick
Cash Considerations

You could use the cash as relief for the contract Delfino wants, (Approx. 5Mil/Year) and Take our Draft pick in 2016.

You also get Delfino who is a VERY suitable Backup SG AND SF, and is also starter worthy.

We would get Klezia whom we are very high on and all would be happy... Right?

What are your thoughts?

you do have reasons to let Delfino go if he's that good as you said right?
this one was discussed before in this board,i dont want to take Delfino,he's not a true SF,he can only play SG and we got JR & Afflalo at this position
plus Delfino is not worth 5M
i'd rather keep LK for 1 more year

Well in that case, why not just sign and trade him at around 4 mil to us and we will send you some draft picks and Cash.
Does that sound like a better deal?
At the end of the day, The nuggets are getting rid of Klezia. Why not just send him over to us and get something in return?

not sure if we really want to avoid the tax when we already offered him the QO near the salary cap.
we will sign either Carter or Kleiza,LK is better option,if Melo goes down,we still have a quality backup SF
we are not really getting rid of him,we are just waiting for a better deal involving him to get a big that can actually help us
or just keep him for the QO,we have nothing to lose unless we let him go with nothing return or trade him to contender teams in same conference

If the luxury tax was the issue, why would we want Delfino at the same price. Kleiza is better and can play the 4.

I'd rather let LK go for nothing than over pay Delfino.

In the end, LK isn't going to sign for the min. Toronto fans are getting their hopes up.

why not just keep delfino - i would rather have delfino on the Raptors cause we need defense and carlos can score and rebound + he is good friends with jose

Delfino can only score.

he can't do anything else.
