Use Trade Exception to Add Celtics Tony Allen

Hi, Celtics fan here. Just wondering, looking at Nuggets depth chart. By signing Johan Petro Denver has 12 players under contract, meaning you have to add one more player. Logically, you would add a Shooting Guard. With J.R. Smith out the first 7 games, that would increase the need for a good SG. Tony Allen has an expiring contract for $2.5 Million. The Celtics would move him because if they add Marquis Daniels, they would still have 5 wings (Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Marquis Daniels, J. R. Giddens and Billy Walker). Would you do this deal for Tony Allen at the cost of the draft rights to your 2003 #57 pick Xue Yuyang?

We're already looking into signing Rashad McCants or Wally Szczerbiak, I doubt Nuggets will be interested trading a TPE into a guy that will not help out the team a lot. No.

Yeah, he's really no better than a free agent we could pickup for the minimum at this point, so there is really no need.

I can see why the Celtics want to get rid of him, but the Nuggets should, for many, many reasons, not add Tony Allen to the team. Wally plz.
