Indiana showed last year that they're horribly inconsistent from game to game, but they can beat anybody in the league on any given night. They've yet to win a game, and they're going to be hungry.
Yep, the D needs to step up, we can't rely on Melo to drop 40 every night. Bigs need to step up and box out, instead of trying to run out on the fastbreak. Doubt we can contain Granger, he'll get his 25-30 on us, but we need to contain Murphy, Ford, and especially Hibbert.
Our perimeter D needs to be at the top level. Hibbert was having his way down low, gotta block him out early rather than trying to deny him once he got the ball down low deep. Granger will be seeking some type of revenge after that pre season Beijing Game tech exit.
Should commit Nene to focus on Hibbert. I think Melo will bring out his defensive claw on Granger.
You live & die by three's hope IND will die by it tomorrow. Go NUGGETS Go! Definitely the GAME to take it serious.
Contain Murphy foremost (he always starts hitting shots to get the Pacers shooting), but overall yes this should be a defensive mindset game and capitalize on easy buckets to minimize the exertion on the offensive end.
Danny Granger is dangerous. The Nuggets need to come out with a lot of intensity on the defensive end and get the Pacers off balance right away. If Birdman and Afflalo can finally get it going this should be a win. They both haven't done really anything so far in the first three games.
Nuggets win and start their east coast road trip off right. Go Nuggies!!!
Need to put AA on Granger & rotate him with Melo defensively. Need to keep Melo's energy for offense as much as possible. K-Mart needs to shadow Troy and keep Hibbert out of the deep post position. This will be good game.
Oh Man, Here comes Nene on a tear! Good start. Gotta sustain the effort. Good to see Nene going. If he can step up one more notch this season, we got a good chance!
