Denver Nuggets (8-3, first in the Northwest, third in the West)
Los Angeles Clippers (4-9, fourth in the Pacific, twelfth in the West)

Random Tidbits:
:onfire: Carmelo Anthony is second in the NBA in scoring, averaging 29.9 points per game.

:sour: Marcus Camby is tenth in the NBA in blocks, averaging 1.92 blocks per game.

 Anthony Carter is probable for the game. In other injury news, Birdman is questionable.

:o (not really). Marcus Camby is questionable for the game with a back injury.

:usa: Nuggets open as 8.5 point favorites. Go out and gamble on the Nuggets. Gambling is good. Not gambling is bad. If you're not gambling, the terrorists win.

:cowboy: Carrie Underwood > the Clippers.

Melo and Lala care more than you do.

Camby cares about smashing faces more than you do.

How many times do I have to tell you guys that you're acting like children as relates to Anthony Carter. Sure, he's a liability on both ends of the court. Sure, he's a turnover machine. Sure Ty Lawson has outplayed him by leaps and bounds. You simpletons will never get it.

Two days before Anthony Carter is to return to the Nuggets' lineup, his coach took a moment to defend the veteran guard.

"I'll be honest with you," George Karl said. "I think sometimes the fans have been too hard on A.C. The man has been a big part of what this team has become and is built on. And not to respect what he does is I think fanatically fanlike."

Did I mention Carrie Underwood > the Clippers?

You guys keep saying that, and yet I'm not sure I've ever looked at that part of the picture.

AC looks like a bouncing ball on the court to me.

Them LAL fans are just senseless bunch. Comparing what we write about games on our game thread with them is like trying to compare AC against Ty plus THEY HATE US more than they hate other teams.

Originally when I shielded the one above Carrie with my hand that seemed to work, but there is an in-living-colour esque upstaging going on there. Vera-esque.

Camby looks like that play hurt him more then it did the guy eating the ball, and he did play in limited minutes the other night, he might have broken a nail on that play.

Tonight should be one of the handful of games Camby puts maximum effort into.

Oh yeah, I am sure he has had this date marked on the schedule. But, he is questionable for tonight's game with a lower back bruise. Eric Gordon is out, and so is K. Rush.

I still remember this time from a few seasons ago:
Camby, who recently missed 15 games because of a hurt pinkie, returned Sunday after sitting out Friday against Dallas because he said he "slept wrong" and hurt his back. But he did sit out the final 8 minutes of regulation and all of overtime Sunday because of a "strained neck" after he drew a charge.

Hey man hurt pinkies are serious. The catapult shot is near impossible to pull off without a good pinky for support.

I haven't logged on there in a minute, I will check it out and see how it does for me.

Edit: It loads right up for me, but it looks like they have changed the layout again.

i feel sick.

that was just embarrassing...

George Karl's game management is downright pitiful.
can anybody even attempt to explain to me why Allen was left in for so long during that 2ndQ run?

Two questions: 1) Malik Allen when it ain't workin'? 2) Leave Ty on the bench when Billups is playing like ass?

I liked the sporadic efforts, and even JR's defense on that one play, but there just weren't enough in a row.

Speed worked for this game, Ty had the speed, Malik did not.....and George did not spot this soon enough.
