The Timberwolves won 99-94 at home on Feb. 14, 2007, for their last victory over Denver. The Nuggets have won four in a row at the Target Center.

Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points to remain the only player in the league to score at least 20 in every game this season. Averaging a league-leading 30.2 points per contest, Anthony could be in for another big night against another of the NBA's weaker clubs. Anthony is averaging 28.4 points in his last 14 games against Minnesota, which is allowing 107.9 points during its nine-game skid against Denver.

I'm guessing the Wolves will double Melo to prevent a repeat of last year...

Damn Loco nice thread. I love the pic for the T-Wolves that looks like Melo is a key reserve!

Melo just needs to keep up his domination so far still avg over 30 pts a game.

JR needs to keep working on his assist to TO ratio. 2.33/2 right now. He can get that up it will really benefit his long ball as well.

Nene needs to play strong and just dunk the ball rather then trying to finese it around Al Jefferson.

Should be another win if we play the same way we did in the second half against the Nets (minus all the whistles).

How do Graham and Allen get more garbage time than Balkman?

Good game! Schedule favoring us for the next several games. GK putting Allen & Graham rather than Balkman trying to come out with solid replacement for spot 3 Melo 4 Martin in my opinion. I think he is preferring for the player with size and some shooting touch from the mid range.

Next couple games we may see some trying out type of substitutions on Balkman, Allen, & Graham. As long as AC is not on the floor we should be safe. Hope Karl will be careful on his experiments.

Timberwolves have turned into anklebiters. Glad we got through that one with no collateral damage. On to Friday's contest.

One of the line that was best described: LEAD BY AN EXAMPLE!

"I think it's starting to become contagious amongst the whole team," said Anthony. "It really starts with me, if I go out there and get everybody involved people see that it's productive when they get the ball and they are gonna get the ball when they move and run. Then everybody starts doing it."

This should bring team effort not only to score but also all the other factors of the successful game strategies. I am sure you all like AA's defensive IQ , now i expect others especially bigs to box out when ball is in the air " See ball, See man" . Nene in particular getting the touches early and that gets him pumped and going early NICE!
