Chauncey strained a groin, and had a precautionary MRI after the Nuggets/Rockets game. Results tomorrow. He's questionable for the New Orleans game on Friday. Would Karl start Lawson? Or would he find an excuse to start AC, perhaps because he "prefers Lawson's energy off the bench"?
Groins are pretty crappy injuries, because like a hamstring, they can linger for a long time if you don't make sure they heal properly before returning.

AC coming off the bench will suit the team better & Karl should prefer it cause AC was bench PG. Because it puts JR AC to share ball handling if necessary in the 2 nd squad. We need Ty to make some plays at the starting lineup! Lets vote: +1 for Ty to start
Speedy recovery to CB. I don't have to say how important he is.
this board is kinda quite. Other boards are like play by play page

I think everybody here wants Ty to start, but none of our votes matter. The question is what Karl will do.

This is a good test for Lawson and to see what he's capable of.
Can't wait to see him against the best PG.

Certainly a test for Ty.
Hard to guess what Karl thinks. If he starts AC over Ty after what he has seen. i would be like this

I won't be alone though!!!

Whether Ty starts or not, he is definitely going to see an increase in minutes to say the least. The good thing is that the next couple games are pretty good match ups for him, against guys like Paul and Conley. Chauncey was never the greatest at guarding CP3's speed, so it's a good spot for Ty to get his feet wet.
Hopefully this makes Ty to be more aggressive too. If there is one gripe I have about him so far, it's that he has been a little too passive. It's understanding with him being a rookie and not trying to do too much. But if Chauncey is out, I hope it makes him feel like he needs to step up, and he'll be in more of an attack mode. For as great as he has been, I still feel like we're only seeing about 60% of what he can do, and that's not even factoring in the natural progression his game will make as he becomes more seasoned through the years.

I don't want Ty to start at this point, but I would prefer he start over Carter. With Ty starting the game it gives us a better idea of what we will see throughout the game and Carter can come in and do his dirty work without other teams seeing him coming.
We also have JR who could get a chance to eat some minutes at point.
I definitely think Ty/AC can hold it down until CB comes back - it's just a question of Ty's aggression and decision making.

Karl didn't know for sure who he will start at point guard this weekend, but it will likely be Anthony Carter, a Karl favorite and veteran the coach trusts.
"A.C. is a professional. He stays ready," forward Kenyon Martin said.
Rookie point guard Ty Lawson, who led Denver with a career-high six assists Wednesday, has never started an NBA game. Moreover, Karl worries a little about having him on the court with starter Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith (who plays starter's minutes) because "then I have too many guys that want to shake-and-bake." But with Billups out, it will be Karl doing some shaking, in regards to his lineup and rotations.

Should be ok. Paul will draw two quick fouls on Carter, and then it'll be Ty time. That's assuming, of course, that AC can actually keep close enough to get called for fouls. Last time he was on Paul he ended up in a NBA commercial by getting crossed over and falling down.

Don't care if Ty starts, but he needs to finish. And play starters minutes.

Ty should get more mins than AC no matter whether he starts or not. If Karl puts him in starting lineup that will pump the dude & who knows the rest.
J.R Should be in with AC and Ty in with Melo & AA IMO better squad. AC & TY too small.

I think AC will start, but Ty will eventually get more minutes unless CP3 schools him
