Chauncey named WC Player of the Week

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James was named today as the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, January 18th through Sunday, January 24th.
In three games during the week, James averaged an NBA-best 34.0 points on .484 shooting, 7.7 rebounds and a league-high 10.7 assists in 41.3 minutes per game.
The Denver Nuggets’ Chauncey Billups was named the Western Conference Player of the Week. Other nominees for the Eastern Conference Player of the Week were Atlanta’s Jamal Crawford and Joe Johnson, Miami’s Dwayne Wade, Milwaukee’s Andrew Bogut, Orlando’s Dwight Howard and Toronto’s Chris Bosh.

Not that I care much about the All-Star Game but I find it odd that Chauncey is rarely in the conversation when it comes to the reserve guards.

Most of the people do not realize what he brings to the table. It is not a surprise that Nuggiez have been the black sheep of the league. for no reason we have more haters than lovers when it comes to nuggets.
But personally i am not worried about him entering the ASG. coaches will choose him easily.

Apparently averaging nearly 20/3/6 on the 3rd best team in the league isn't all-star caliber.
And that's from a guy who's impact on the game has nothing to do with stats. Someone dropped the ball, for sure.
