Will Carmelo Anthoney leave?

He's probably going to sign a contract extension this next ummer.

He could. Bigger market means more attention.

For some reason I feel like Melo is never gonna leave denver, He already showed that he cared about money by signing a longer extension than (bosh,Bron, wade) he did it cause he didnt wanna leave money on the table, and the nuggets will be able to offer him the most money.

The only way I see him leaving is if he can go to washington because baltimore is right up the road, or If he can go to new york maybe. That's it though.

Im doubtful because of how much this franchise has tried to help him win and put big pieces together to try and do so. Hard to find an owner and management as committed as the nuggets are. How much more do you think they can improve? they are second in the west right now.

This team's success greatly depends on Melo, in its current configuration. Not just Melo's abilities, but his natural enthusiasm for the game. When he's excited about playing, everyone else is excited about playing. Nugs improving depend on him.

I don't see Melo leaving the Nuggets, as I believe that the Nuggets have built the team correctly and shown Melo they are willing to do what it takes, without making the continual panic moves like the Cavs, or severely cutting costs like the Heat. Add in the fact that Melo can make the most through resigning with the Nuggets, and I think he stays right here in Denver.

You act like the Nuggets are a perennial lotto team, like the Raptors.


He'll sign an extension this summer, especially with the new CBA coming into play the summer he would be a free agent.

It is tough to say if he will or won't. Some of the guys he is used to having around won't be around forever (Kmart for example), and it is only a matter of time before George Karl has a fallout with someone on the team. He has done it everywhere that he has previously coached. I hope he stays, but it is tough to say.

Yeah if the Nugs just make it to the WCF he's gone. Why would he want to stay on a perpetually winning team?

If Melo had more of a killer instict he'd be a top 5 player in the game and untouchable. I liked him in the draft better than Lebron, I never thought Lebrons shot would get to where it is now, but from the start I worried about Melo's carefree relaxed attitude, because his ease of scoring on the offensive end is either #1 or #1A, Doug Collins thinks KD is the best offensive scorer in the NBA. My boy 24 is an excellent scorer but he takes the most difficult shots in the world to get there and has to work 10 times as hard as these guys to stay on top but guys like LBJ, Melo, KD, just wake up and are blessed with everything, Melo scores so effortlessly and so quickly same with KD. If Kobe didn't have his sick work ethic and kiler drive these guys would all run circles around him because they are just amazing gifted athletes.
