we really need this win. Dallas is on an 8 game win streak and the Thunder are only 2.5 games back of us, with Utah right there as well. The west is so close, its amazing how much stronger the west is than the east. Put 12 teams from the west in the playoffs and screw those last 4 teams in the east. They have no chances and its disgusting a team that is under .500 might make the playoffs.

lets pull it together nugz!!!! Two tough losses in a row now lets get back that #2 seed.

Wild wild west this year specially towards the end makes it so exciting.

Our schedule for remainder of the season looks favorable to us, but we still have to get it done.

Tough to play first game coming off the road trip at home after 2 losses but this one is must W game. Hope Nene will wear his dick at home and punish those smaller front line of theirs early.

This game has reminded me how much the nugs used to alley-oop it back in the Andre Miller days, he was real solid at throwing those.

I <3 Bird...

He really makes effort at going for every rebound and block shots... but more importantly, rebounding.

We're shutting down Durantula

Good first half, in other news, Mavs are tied with T-Wolves in the 4th quarter

That's more like it. That was fun, and it's been a bit since that was the case.

I was thinking about going to this game...good thing I didn't. People should be refunded at least 25% of their ticket price for that one.

Anthony Carter is fun to watch though, when you know he has no chance of losing the game for you. I burst out laughing when he tried going around his back and almost threw the ball out of bounds. Good ****.

^^^He had 12 assists tonight, and this is only the third game in a row where he has seen minutes, he should get more minutes from here on out.

It's hilarious when a guy becomes injured, then becomes no longer injured, and nobody has a clue either time.

So there is no reason why Malik Allen should be playing now, if Petro and Balkman haven't been on the court. Although I guess Karl's excuse with Balkman will be that he hasn't played much so is too rusty to play.

Guy was a high energy, near double-double man last year when he started a stretch of games for Kmart. And those are two areas this team seems to need help in this year.

One thing I have appreciated in recent weeks, for those of us who think Melo doesn't care, is his insistence on guarding the best players more often. I know he smiles too much, and get lets Ron Artest throw him in the third row, but he's guarded Kobe, LeBron, and Durant all recently, and done a reasonable job against them all for stretches.

certainly a head scratcher when they can play that well against OKC and that terribly against PHX.

it was like watching 2 different teams. one that knew how to pass and cut and rebound and play aggressive defense, and one that looked like they had never played with each other before and were putting in just enough effort to collect their paychecks for the night.

does 1 day of rest really matter that much in the league?

I think there's a confusion when they work hard and don't see results right away. When that happens the focus seems to be broken and they play like they did in Phoenix.

They need to see that they are capable of restarting the fire anytime they decide to adjust to a team.
