steroids definitely did this for guys like neifi perez. without steroids, he wouldn't be in the league right now!

No its not, there are several millions of people all over the world with the same reason of not liking Barroid.

When your life is based upon physical advantage because you play a professional sport, not feeling the pain from weight lifting is considered an advantage.

Once again your showing off your knowledge of steroids. Awesome, I'm happy for you, but taking steroids allows the muscle tissue to repair quicker, which to me, is an advantage.

HeelSox wrote:I've never viewed steroids as a big deal and I never will. Christ, who knows what state the MLB would be in if players hadn't taken steroids. There are so many players in the MLB juicing that if you worry about each and every juicer...you won't be able to watch a single game.

Who cares?

I care. If professional athletes hadn't started the steroid rage, there wouldn't be as many kids taking it.

I prefer the fairest playing field, if at all possible. I understand cheaters will always cheat, but no matter what state the MLB is in, there is no reason for steroids.

Your posts are getting worse and worse. This line has to be a joke right?

Yea I agree, I wondered how Neifi Perez was hitting homers at Wrigley when he was a cub. I got my answer a year later.

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with many aspects of the whole Bonds mess. Here's a few things.

As you may know, i've been a Bonds supporter fron day #1. Many times i have posted replies to supposedly knowledgable fans who claimed that they were wondering why the Fed's hadn't acted sooner cause after all, "Bonds admitted to the Grand Jury that he used steroids.

So, the indictment says that Bonds was lieing to the Grand jury about his suposed use and they have several counts of perjury against him for these lies. Anyone else see the problem i'm having with this. They can't have it both ways.

Another thing. History is not going to be nice to those who have "gone after" Barry Bonds. 10-20-50 years from now everyone will know exactly what was really going on during the "Selig Steroid Era" of Baseball. Barry Bonds singular treatment, charecter assult, and further damnations for his small part in the "Big Picture"will for ever be a shame on American History. This treatment will become modern examples of mob ethics, abuse of journalistic power, exclusions of human rights, and the Salem witch hunts. In short, Barry Bonds will become even greater than he is now and those that persecuted him will be chastised as unbelievably idiotic.

I don't think the indictment has anything to do with steroids. I'm not 100% so someone feel free to provide a link.

I think its similar to Al Capone's case, where they couldn't get him for murder so they got him for tax invasion. From what I've read, Barry was given immunity on his testimony about Steroids. Which meant, if he had admitted to doing steroids(willingly) he would not have been prosecuted by the courts for it.

I think Barry was indicted for his lying about his knowledge and about which people were involved. Again, not sure on this. Just putting he pieces together from all that I've read.

Why should it be viewed as cheating? Cheating your health...but that's about it according to the rules ;)
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."
