ESPN: Santana to Yankees Deal Unlikely

Breaking News on SportsCenter.
Looks like Santana is either staying in Minnesota or heading to Seattle or Boston.

I heard the Seattle pulled out of the Santana deal. If the Yankees officially pull out, the Red Sox will probably get him.

However, I am not convinced that Lester/Ellsbury + Coco is an appropriate package for a 2 time Cy Young winner. Imo the Twins management is foolish if they take the current Red Sox offer.

Well considering he said he'd veto any mid-season trade, they better take what they can get right now because he'll just walk out the door at the end of the season. Doesn't seem foolish to me to get SOME value at least for one of, if not, the best pitchers in baseball no?
