Ehh, everyone wears a NYY cap from time to time. It's like the classics of all baseball caps, it seems.

Dontrelle Willis donned them from time to time, as do other athletes.....

I really don't see a problem with it. Its only bad if a Yankee is wearing a Sawx cap, or vice versa.

Not me, not for a trillion, zillion dollars. Mets cap i'd wear...its the better looking NY baseball cap anyway. Why can't anyone wear that. I once thanked a guy who wore a Mets cap some months ago. If NE Ohio gets in an uproar with Lebron wearing it, then they should with whoever is wearing that disgusting offensive looking cap.
Besides NFL's john wayne glamourboy Tom Brady was photographed wearing that cap & the chowds didn't demand 4 him 2 be run out of town. Which was a surprise on both sides. Anybody remember the N.E./G.Bay superbowl where the chowds were celebrating in the big easy & someone just had 2 spoil their fun wearing that cap & a riot near happened. It was on spike or court tv caught on tape specials.

It was actually a Bill Russell jersey, but the 6ers fans hate the Lakers the most, not the Celtics. Only Lakers jersey the steaks[Philly natives] might be ok with the players wearing is Chamberlain, Magic, Kareem. The 70's-80's Lakers were hated but were respected. Unlike the 90's-current Lakers.
