MLB Network

Post#1 » by SportsWorld » Fri Dec 21, 2007 11:26 pm

MLB Network is set to launch January 2009 (Not sure what is taking so long) and will be launched in 47,000,000 homes in the U.S.
They are even going to carry 26 live games in 2009 as well.
It's about time MLB added a 24 hour 365 day station dedicated to baseball only.

No, most cable companies have an agreement with MLB from what I have heard. As I said in my 1st post, 47,000,000 homes will get MLB Network.

I would think they would put this in the Toronto region.

Wasn't it reported a while back that this would be a strictly Direct TV type network?

I would think this would extend to Vancouver as well, other than that, I doubt Canada will be plugged in.
