Jose Canseco has finalized a book deal for his sequel to "Juiced" and it is expected to hit bookstores by Opening Day of the 2008 season, two New York newspapers reported Sunday.
Robert Saunooke, Canseco's lawyer, told The New York Daily News and The New York Post that the book, which has a working title of "Vindicated" will be co-authored by former Sports Illustrated writer Don Yaeger.
The Daily News first reported the story Saturday on its Web site.
"Jose already has a lot of stuff put together," Yaeger told The Daily News.
Disappointed by the Mitchell report, Canseco hopes to publish "an unjaundiced view, without the rose-colored glasses" of steroid use in baseball, Saunooke told The Post.

It'll be interesting to see what "stuff" he has on Arod & why it was not included in the 1st book.

What did he lie about in his first book?
Seriously..
I love the heat that Canseco gets even though he admits he used and really opened a ton of peoples eyes about the steroid issue.
Canseco admits he was a garbage player without performance enhancement drugs.. The guy is real IMO.
I will buy the 2nd book - I hope he makes some serious coin off it as well..

If he had more information, why didn't he put it in the first book? Don't you think if he had stuff on ARod, the best hitter in the game, he would have included it in his first cash grab?
He may not lie in this book, but I imagine it's going to be nothing but speculation. I mean what inside stuff would he have got since the last book? What kind of person would even think about steroids around Jose Canseco? It's going to be nothing but 'Well I heard from this guy who heard from this other guy that talked to the doctor of a friend of ARod's and he said ARod took HGH, zomg'. The difference last time is that fellow teammates confided in him, so he had first hand knowledge. This time he's got nothing.

I don't trust you with that picture....
In all seriousness though, everything he said in his first book seemed to come true...didn't it?

Again, he had first hand knowledge on all of that. What does he have this time? Who's going to let Jose Canseco inject anything in their ass after the book?
Perhaps he knew/told that two books would in the end give him more profit? I don't really know to be honest. Maybe he goes into more detail? It's hard to not believe the guy atleast for me.
