There is a canopy that unfolds from the mast covering the field and most of the stands. Supposedly takes less than 10 minutes.

As a Rays fan I really like it. I think the design is great but the one issue I have is going to be combating the Floridian sun.

Also noticed that the capacity with be around 34,000, making it a small stadium, but for a franchise that struggles to draw fans, it will be the perfect size. And from the plans, it looks like if they need to add more seats, they can.

I absolutely love the design of it. It's a great spectacle but one has to wonders how many rainouts and stormouts will happen with an open stadium.
