Yanks open season on the road?

Post#1 » by Godzilla039 » Sun Apr 4, 2010 3:23 pm

If they won the championship last year, then why do they have to open the season on the road? I thought all defending champs opened the season in front of their home crowd .. or is that just in basketball and football

Seems weird for a champion in any sport to start the season on the road.

Doesn't make much sense but I'm okay with it. I have my tickets for the home opener on the 13th, can't wait.

my friend works for Steiner Sports & has about 10 tickets for every game, he usually sells 5-7 of em. Great seats in right field, field level with the bleacher creatures.

That's where the action is at, I can't afford the other seats but from what I've seen these rich a$$ are pathetic fans. But then again I want to be rich and pathetic like them.

Can't wait to get back to NYC for some Yankee baseball

game 2 against the twins last year, a bunch of those yuppie types were in our section because they got screwed out of their good seats or something. They were a little uptight at first but by the 5th inning they got into it. I kept breaking their balls calling them "wall street" & "sweater vest" (seriously, why wear a sweater vest to a baseball game?)
