Bobby Thomson passed away

The player that hit the "shot heard round the world"....and maybe baseball's single most famous homerun , passed away today at the age of 86.

Thomson was a pretty good player, but the belt off of Ralph Branca was obviously his defining moment.

For those that didn't know, rookie Willie Mays was on deck.

RIP, Bobby.
