What pussies. 12 turbulent months and they are trying to bail out? They want to focus on Liverpool, let em.

First sign of trouble and they are out the door? I don't know how to feel about this as a Sox fan. If true I find them to be cowards. But they are responsible for improving Fenway and they do spend the money on players.

The Sox could have much worse ownership.

If this actually goes down, the biggest thing to watch imo is if the new owner or owners decide to go with a new ballpark. Would be nuts!

I won't be surprised if Mark Cuban attempts to put a group together. Recently, Cuban said he prefers a situation were the team needs help, but I really don't consider that to be the case for Boston (compared to a small market). He even said that he had no interest in purchasing the Atlanta Braves because they have no issues (HA!).

History aside, I think Fenway is the ugliest stadium in the league.

Maybe Rogers has aspirations of expanding south and will buy the team. :P

I've been to quite a few stadiums and I have to strongly disagree with you.

I've never been to Fenway Park or Boston. However, my aunt's job recently paid for her, and the rest of their top employees (high ranks, been there for 30+ yrs) to go to Boston. They could bring one family member, they rolled out the red carpet for them, and they went on a tour at Fenway Park. The park was only open to her job. My aunt could careless about baseball, but she absolutely loved Fenway Park, and so did my uncle (by marriage). They now want to visit Boston again so they can have more time to explore because they absolutely adored it.

Fenway Park needs to stay.
