I think this might be one of the most impressive CLEAN hitting seasons that's happened in my lifetime, but I'm youngish, can anyone think of one better?

Miggy has been on a tear lately, and he's dinged up which makes it more impressive.

Back to back triple crowns, it may happen, unreal.

He's been really great lately. If he continues on this trend the rest of the year it would surpass Pujols best seasons. He still has some work to do to match Pujols' decade of dominance but he's on the right path.

Albert was more of an early-bloomer and was elite in his early-20's. Peak vs peak I'd go with Miggy. This year his wOBA is .476 which is second to only Bonds in 04'... If Cabrera was a DH avoiding getting knicked up there's no telling what he could do offensively.

I still think Pujols is older than his listed age...

well trout is still young, he has the potential to be a great hitter but I doubt he will ever be as good as Miguel. you can't use his potential to try an discredit or downplay what Miguel is doing the past 2 years.

Cabrera is in a different class this year. If he didn't get injured a couple, he would've been in the lead for triple crown again. If he has a hot week and Davis slips, he could do it

Trout doesn't have the potential to be a great hitter, he is a great hitter...

Trout at 22 = .332/.427/.574
Miggy at 22 = .323/.385/.561

As for the other parts of his game it's not even close... Once again, this doesn't mean Miguel Cabrera isn't a GOD, because he is.

I meant the potential to be the hitter Cabrera is right now. trout is obv a great hitter too.
