Every BBWAA member who's bitching about LeBetard giving his vote to Deadspin should actually take a look at the ballot. I'm guessing it's better than 95% of the ballots those half-wits came up with. Granted Tim Raines is a glaring omission but that's the fault of only being allowed to vote for 10 players.

Braves nation is being well represented in the Hall. Congrats Glavine, Maddux, and Bobby Cox (not from this ballot I know)!

amazing he didn't 100% of the vote.

very pissed off Maddux didn't get 100% of the vote.
I'm giving the BBWWAA one more chance.

if Mariano doesn't get 100% of the vote...eff these writers and their vote.

and go lebetard.

The PTI guys absolutely railed Le Batard.

They also have no clue what the word "sanctimonious" means.

Lol at Mariano getting 100% of the vote.

Anyways, I can kind of understand not voting for Maddux. But the only reason that I can accept is, if you obviously knew he was going in and you wanted to vote for someone else since you can only vote for 10 guys. But that's it

1 World Series ring, 4 straight Cy Youngs, 8 All-Stars, and 18 Gold Golves. 355 Wins, and 3,371 Ks...those 16 voters were right not to vote for him.

Seriously, if those 16 voters' only excuse not to vote for him was because he played in the steroids era, they need to have their ballots revoked.

I'm sure there are a few of the well I really want to vote for these 10 guys and I know Maddux is getting in anyways. Then there is the old school guys who say if Ruth, Mantle, Williams etc didn't get 100% why should Maddux? Next year people will look at Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez as locks to the HOF they won't get 100%. Mo won't get 100% and when it's time for Jeter to go into the HOF he won't get 100%. It's a very flawed system.

Nobody gets 100% of the vote. I heard on the radio it's because some of the voters are old geyzers who forget to even send in their ballot, and some writers abstain totally and don't vote for anyone because of the whole steroid issue.

Those 16 should lose their vote in future ballots. Beyond terrible.
