Steve Phillips might be right?

If Vlad only hits 1 hr then Steve Phillips obviously goes down as the guy to take what he says, flip it around completely and there will lie the truth.

Im glad Rios went pretty far cuz he seemed to be the guy that everyone was saying "oh look, another no name in the derby" even though he had more HR's than Pujols,Ordonez,Holliday, and eventual winner Guererro. He showed he knows how to hit and he is an all star.

I'm glad he didn't win, Sorry. Toronto would have acted like he was the next A-Rod or something

He does have a sweet swing though. He was launching balls 400+ ft. with ease.

That 500 foot bomb that Vlad hit was nasty.

It sucks we didn't get to see any homers go into McCovey Cove. Hopefully Yankee Stadium will be better next year.

rios represented the jays well,i have no problem with him losing to a great player like vlad, rios seems to rely more on finesse but vlad does it on pure strength

Worst announcing ever. Joe Morgan and Dusty Baker? I can't think of many worse possible combinations. Dusty failed to make a relevant point all night, he was like a G W Bush speech crossed with Bill Cosby or something. And Morgan just always interjected to remind people how much he respected [current topic]. When he wasn't sucking Dusty off. I hate them both so much.

Not if a lot of leftys do it, imagine all the upper deck shots down the right field line.

Bring the All Star game to Wrigley and watch balls hit the rooftops.
That would be one interesting Home Run Derby.
