Jim Bowden at it again..

Post#1 » by Scrub Sura » Tue Jul 31, 2007 7:17 pm

Much like last year with Soriano, he is asking for a ransom price for his players.

Apparently, he offered Jon Rauch for Cameron Maybin(the Tigers best prospect) and Chad Cordero for Lastings Milledge and Mike Pelfrey(possibly the 2 best prospects the Mets have).

Of course, he was greeted with a ROTFL and hung up on.

To the shock of no one, it's no wonder they are currently where they are and why they're more than welcome to offer an extension to well known cancer Dmitri Young. Of course, trying to move him when his value is high after raking up numbers on a horrible team just doesn't make sense.

Much like his tenure with the Reds, Bowden is trying to prove that he is far and away the worst GM in the league.
