Great to see him back. Hopefully he can stay healthy. I see he still has that disgusting arm.

Cubs fans love Kerry Wood... you'd think they'd be pissed at him for missing so much time.

I wonder if they feel the same way about Mark Prior that they do about Kerry Wood....?

Prior is seen as a whiny little sissy who constantly makes excuses.

While Wood never made excuses just continued to try to get healthy and couldn't.. Wood almost retired earlier in the year, but tried rehabbing one more time and did it so his son could see him pitch in the majors.

Wood also does a ton of charity work in the Chicago area, so even though some hate that he's constantly hurt they respect him and root for him but don't get there hopes up for him.

Wood is DEFINITELY more liked than Prior.

If only they weren't overused back in the day...:(
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

Let's hope Wood stays healthy for more than 2 hours. This guy puts Carl Pavano to shame.

Its good to see him back and throwing 95 mph too. Considering what he's been through, that was pretty impresive.

Don't ever put Carl Pavano and Kerry Wood in the same sentence again.

You just put Carl Pavano and Kerry Wood in the same sentence...as did I.

I can't, because Wood is injured every year. Pavano hasn't been healthy at all the past few years but Wood's record for injuries puts Pavano to shame, simple as that. When healthy, Wood is the better pitcher but that the health factor is a rare occurrence.

The difference is that Wood actually makes an attempt to rehab. Wood is injury prone, and so is Pavano, but Pavano is just plain brittle and a pussy.

He's a sick pitcher, always has been, just wish he didn't get injured so much. I don't wanna say "lost potential", but it may apply here.
