I'll never take anything that UltraMegaOK1988 said and use it as my backup point...obviously you guys weren't around when he was on Realgm.
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

HeelSox, your right, i wasn't around. If his name is a black mark around here, please excuse. Actually this site is my first attempt at Blogging other than a Collectable Fishing Lure site, i started here and am learning as i go.
I'm not trying to put over that Ultra has "The Answer" or that it is factual. Only that my estimated # is not that far fetched as some think it to be and that many of the bloggers on that site either agree with him or were impressed with his study.

There are two things quite clear from the article, which I said I read but apparently that was missed...
1) Lots of variables were left out. The walks and declining #s as I mentioned. The injuries. Putting Barry in more favorable ballparks. So the author left out many things that would make the article more accurate
2) The author had his result in mind when he started this. Completely biased, and completely inaccurate. Saying he'd hit over 800... insanity! Even if he weren't juicing and still hitting this well, pitchers would STILL walk him at the same rate! To say he'd have MORE HRs than he does now is just outright foolish.
