Ken Griffey Jr. back in his Seattle days, by far. It's not even really close for me.

The best pure hitter in the 90s to me was Frank Thomas.
Griffey was a better all around player, but what both had were the best pure swings..and if I had to guess, Frank had better slugging percentages in his prime from 91-97.
he should have had an MVP award in 2000, but admitted roid user Jason Giami won. big hurt of course came in second, and was in the top ten 9 seasons!
being a DH aside, one of the three best players of the 90s and he can add one more zany record next year with the most sac flies!

hell yea, id say he was the 1st or 2nd best hitter in the 90's (probably behind bonds) but he was my favorite player. ive never been one to just flock to griffey like so many freakin kids did in my day (same with jordan) but frank was always my boy.
i always hate how the strike happened in 94 b/c he was putting up one of the best statistical seasons ever. .353/.487/.729 w/38 HR's 101 RBI's in only 113 games!
