Does Peter Angelos play the fiddle? If he did, I could make a clever allusion...

They may not score another run all year though.

They already have 6 tonight. (Game 2 of Doubleheader)

65 batters came to the plate and 11 of them struck out. Studcrackers focuses on these 11, as if it were somehow amazing that 17% of the batters in a game struck out.

well when the previous 2 games i see 30 strikeouts its kind of annoying to see this trend continue despite how good your offense performed. thinking more about im not as annoyed but we're still pretty much fielding a AAA team which makes it even funnier that we got 30 runs.

im trying to figure out whats the most impressive thing from the game outside of the 30 runs

wes littelton got the save

we scored 0 runs in more innings then innings we scored in

our 8-9 hitters combined for 4 hr's and 14 RBI's

our previous 5 games we had 10 runs combined

with marlon byrd hitting a grandslam in the 6th inning it was the Sonic Slam Inning some lady won 25 grand.

thats all i can think of for now

LOL@ leaving more runners on base than the Orioles.

That's dominance.

How did the Texas Pitcher get a save in a 30-3 game?

Pitching 3 innings or more to close out a game gets you a save. Even with a 27 run lead. The fun thing about inventing faulty metrics is you can tack on bizarre, arbitrary criteria to them!

Thanks for the clarification on the save. Keeping a 27 run lead just didn't seem like a save but hey they make the rules!

It was 3-0 Orioles at one point. Now that's insane

scary to think that it took the rangers 4 innings to score ONE run.
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

Poor Orioles. I guess that's what spending a ton of money on your bullpen gets you.
