At some point you have to ask why we can’t just let them play in the stadiums with 50% capacity or whatever.

14 Marlin players tested positive on the first weekend. 1 Game already cancelled for today with probably at least one more to come. Doesn't look good at all for baseball and it doesn't look good for football and the NFL in a few weeks. This all sucks. Really looks like we are going to have to shut everything down again and we should get used to the fact that most sports will shut down till we get a vaccine.

This is really making me nervous about the NFL.

I saw in some games over the weekend a lot of hand slapping orgies in the dug outs after home runs. In many cases there was way to many players being too close and half of them were not wearing a mask.

The NFL has multiple franchises in states that are hotspots surging with infections and deaths.

My bet is that the NFL doesn't make it to September, and baseball will be done for sooner than later.

Me too. I mean how can you not know how this f**king virus works by now?

Looks like baseball will have no choice but to shut down sometime next week. And to be honest, they have no one to blame but themselves. Players are doing a lousy job with the protocols they need to keep everyone safe.

MLB and Bleacher reports Miami Marlin players went out when they were in Atlanta last week and many other others were hanging around the hotel bar which led to 21 players and staff getting infected. MLB commissioner stated if players don't strictly follow protocols, baseball will shut down for the season next Friday.
