Wow, the worst franchise in sports now sports the worst jerseys as well. Fitting.

The logo is so generic and the uniforms aren't really that different except for the road being blue. The home ones look like a newer version of the original Devil Rays jerseys, which are better than the new ones.

No worse than it is now, I guess. Not much you can do with Tampa Bay Rays.

How much do you think they paid to make that logo? I could have made that.

Seem to be very plain. I'm not seeing an improvement.

I wonder who the genius was who said "let's just take our away jersey and the home trousers and call it an alternate uniform"....

Bleh. I feel bad for the players, and for the fans who support the team. They have one of the worst stadiums. They have one of the worst names (then and now). They've been a perennial loser ever since coming into the league. What a joke of a franchise.

On another note, I liked that green/blue/black/white color combination they were using. It was pretty nice, and different (in a good way). And is it just me, or does the light blue color underneath the armpits of the new away unis remind anyone else of preseason jerseys? It looks like they aren't even button up, either.

What a horrible logo. And those colors. Gross. And those uniforms. Ew.

F+ to MLB for allowing this fashion no-no.

No need to take cheap shots at the Rays.

And yes, the new uniforms are lame, although I'll wait until I see them on the players themselves. I don't know what was wrong with the current scheme, as it was not that bad looking and very original

TB contracted the same designer who made the Bobcats new logo?

Awful.

But isn't the big news that they're exorcizing the "Devil" from Rays?

Nobody's yet mentioned that those road jerseys also appear to be pullovers rather than button-ups. I thought those things went out in the early 80s.

:eek1: BORRRING! Another reason why they should be contracted. Couldn't they call themselves StingRays instead? Another team in sports who wears played out Navy color & very much played out dental floss size striped uniforms. I hate the color green but its different, stop looking like everyone else. I like pullover jerseys. Every single team don't need no button up stuff.
