Thank you Andrelton Simmons for waking up the Nats. 10-2 since that nasty dirty slide into Yunel Escobar.

It's bad enough Mets have little to no hitting and an error prone defense, but they have these brain farts too. You can't win on pitching alone.

Something is legitimately wrong with Strasburg. Gotta DL him at this point. I don't know if its physical or mental.

The A's look to be done but other than the Astros, no one is running away with that division yet

I would be mad at Jeffrey Loria for letting Mike Redmond go after the near no-hitter today, but Redmond was one of the least imaginative managers in baseball for the 2ish seasons he was at the helm. The guy just sat on lineups and never did much to change anything up. That's part of why the Marlins haven't done much yet this season. Everyone besides Dee Gordon seems to be to complacent in their roles.

Should be interesting to see who gets hired. Wally Backman or Andy Haines seem like the logical fits, but I could see Loria throwing money at someone like Rick Renteria or Ron Washington.

Just hand Bryce Harper the NL MVP right now. Leads the NL in HRs, RBI, Runs, OPS. And he's only 22 years old.

So much for being overrated. LOL!

+1 for putting RBI and not RBIs.

We will rid the world of RBIs one baseball fan at a time.

Also, sports sites need to drop AB in favor of PA. AB tells you nothing.

John Hart has made out like an absolute bandit in that Heyward trade so far. Before anything, J-Hey is a FA at the end of the year while Shelby Miller is under team control until 2018, now Miller also leads the Majors in ERA and WHIP (and threw 8.2 innings of no hit ball against the Marlins). Tyrell Jenkins is also doing pretty well in Double A ball.

Doesn't get any better than seeing a walk off in person. Ryan Zimmerman now just four homers or so short of the all time walk off home run record.
