:D Fiddy just let John Wall off the hook for worst first pitch ever.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

The Cardinals are never going to suck.

Well, the Twins and Rays usually do, but they never call anyone up until they're like 30.

I wouldn't put the Rays farm system anywhere near the top at this time.

It'll be a couple of years before the next wave of newbies is ready.

Huge sweep of the Marlins for the Braves over the past weekend. We went into the series tied with them at the top of the div but have now made 3 games of separation between ourselves and the rest of the div. Tommy La Stella has been a machine early on in his Major League career: has had 3 multi-hit games in his first 5 games, had a big RBI Saturday, and scored a big run today, hopefully he's our answer at 2nd.

The Braves needed that after the worst series ever against Boston. I read yesterday that the Braves have had the toughest schedule so far, so that makes me feel a tad bit better about the painfully mediocre results.

I also saw yesterday that, as good as the Braves have pitched, the A's have given up 2 less runs...and scored 102 more. +115 so far. That's quite a run differential for barely a third of the season.

I'm still trying to figure out how the A's are doing what they're doing. This is beyond any Moneyball situation at this point. They're just consistently out-hitting and out-pitching everyone they face. I'd really like to see them make a deep run into October because they're actually fun to watch.

Hooray Ryan Zimmerman is back. As much as he sucks at 3B now, the dude can still hit and we desperately need all the help we can get offensively. Will be interesting to see him play LF though. I mean he couldn't even throw the ball from 3rd to 1st, how is he supposed to throw from all the way out there? Get your popcorn ready....

I'm sorry for anybody who has been checking ESPN and MLB Network.

i have no idea why we're celebrating Puig's one yea anniversary on these networks.

Yeah... I don't really get the point, but he's polarizing enough to warrant it, I guess. He's basically the baseball equivalent of Johnny Football.

Zimm is back, and we score 7 runs.

Need to sweep the Phils. Schedule gets really tough coming up and Braves schedule gets a lot easier. Only regular out of the lineup now is Harper, so no more injury excuses for not scoring runs.

It'd be really great if the Yanks could start hitting, and if the bullpen could become competent.

Tommy La Stella has been a revelation since we called him up. 10-23 (and counting so far this game) in the big leagues so far. So nice to see some offensive production at 2nd base after suffering through Dan Uggla for so long.
