That's what a lot of people said about the Angels/Giants in 02. Or Marlins/Yankees in 03.

That was such a big double play by Hardy or else the Tigers would be up 5-4 right about now.

Re: 2014 MLB Playoffs Thread
great catch by Lorenzo Cain in center to start the bottom of the 1st.
as much as I hate the Angels, I wish Trout's 1st playoff AB was a hit.
dah well.
GO ROYALS!

The only way the Tigers got a chance beating the Orioles is if their starting pitchers pitches complete games.

That and they are spoiled with success with their sports teams in the area, can't blame them for not going crazy in game 1 of ALDS, just a huge difference

It also matters on the opponent too. If we were playing the Yankees or Red Sox, the stadium would be really loud as the Angels fans try to drown out the noise from the Sox and Yankee chants.

Also what's up with all of the games in the LDS on TBS or FOX 1? What happened to showing games on network TV like the good ol days?

In Oakland where they have the gimmicks like drums, but only when runs are being scored in Anaheim. It's a laid back area for the most part lol.
