Tomorrow could be pretty doable, considering Greg Smith is filling in for Jeff Francis.

CarGo is an absolute stud, BTW. He finished last season on a tear, and a nice four hit day to start of this season.

That's the only game we have a chance in. We can crush lefties, righties own us. We have no chance against Cook.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out the Brewers needs pitching. It's no secret the Brewers' pitching rotation is the weakest phase of their game. Brewers need improvement from the pitching staff to get there.

I'm actually pretty comfortable with the pitching. Love Gallardo, Wolf is pretty good, Bush is fine as a #4 starter and was fine last year until he took a Hanley Ramirez line drive off his arm. Davis is decent, absolutely hate how Suppan was gifted the #5 spot, but I expect Narveson to have that spot soon enough.

Bullpen is deep. Hoffman, Hawkins, Coffey, Vargas, Parra, Narveson and Villanueva in the bullpen with Braddock and Axford to cover for injuries is really good.

Honestly, the main thing I was concerned about was the offense after Braun and Fielder. That and Macha.

Bronson Arroyo gets a milestone and gets his 1000 K. The historic strikeout came against Albert Pujols.

Congrats, Bronson!

Giants 4-0 off a 13th inning single from Aaron Rowand. Wellemeyer, possibly Lincecum going tomorrow.

Colby Rasmus has 8 BB and 10 AB, I'm back in love after falling out of love with his non-walking ass last year.

Meanwhile Jason Heyward having some early struggles striking out 44.4% of his plate appearances so far.

I do not like Carlos Gomez, I did not like the trade that brought Carlos Gomez to Milwaukee and I do not like Ken Macha. One of the reasons is that he thinks batting Carlos Gomez 2nd is a good idea.

Doesn't help that part of his last name rhymes with K.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Minnesota's new out door park looks.
