Hell, I didn't see this, and I really don't want too. i just want A-Rod to break this record within the next 5 years. Everybody outside of those dellusional 40,000 people at that stadium should seriously be depressed. it's not just the steriods either. Bonds is an @$$hole who dosen't care about his family, friends, owners, teammates, or fans. He cheats on his wife, his taxes, and the game.
If Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson can't make it into the hall of fame, than this scum shouldn't.
I'm not depressed, nobody cares if you don't like him, I don't care if you don't like him and he sure as hell doesn't care if you don't like him. He's not the greatest person to ever play the game, nobody is perfect, but that doesn't matter, likeablity doesn't matter, but respect does. I guarantee you all of his peers respect him and if not, then I guarantee you ever single pitcher that he has faced respects Barry Bonds and what he can do with a bat in his hands. You can cry all you want to but reality is reality. Whether you like it or not, despite the steroids, despite who he is as a person, Barry Bonds is the new home run king. And the fact of the matter is this was allowed to happen, so deal with it. Everyone keeps on saying this is a sad day for baseball but its not. A sad day for baseball will come when there is no baseball.
