It is crazy how we are doing it with not many HR's.

Yet still in the lead despite the fact that the Nats just had a stretch of 9-3. Basically, with both the Braves and Nats hot over this stretch, the main thing this streak did was put the team that won't win the division right into the thick of the wildcard race.

Grats to Jordan Zimmermann for making another All-Star game. Anthony Rendon should have made it too, he did make the final vote but I doubt he wins that since he's not a big name.

Nats/Braves could come down to the last day of the season. We need to get some kinda lead since our head to head record against them is terrible.

That is good news for the Division but I definitely still want the Division title!

Hopefully the Mets can keep beating the Braves. We can't beat the O's head to head at all and it sucks because my girl is a big O's fan and won't let me forget it. :banghead:

losing three straight to the Mets really gives you that sinking feeling they talk about on the 5 hour energy commercials

Who would have thought Harang would be our team leader in wins at the All-Star break?

Or that Stephen Strasburg would basically be our 4th best SP this year...

No doubt, nobody seems to want the division.

We heat up, Nats heat up. We cool down, Nats cool down. We seem to be doing it in pairs.

Nice win heading into the break although things got a little too close for comfort.

i thought the braves were gonna run away with the division? 8-)

Dodgers finished the break with the best record in the NL without playing anywhere near where this team is capable of playing.

glad for the rest and I'm excited for the 2nd half.
well....not our first 3 series coming out of the break.

at StL, at Pit, at SF.

Well Wainwright was named the starter anyway so just screw Kershaw's miraculous 1st half.

I'm not saying Kershaw isn't deserving, but I think Wainwright edged him out because he's pitched the entire season and, well, Mike Matheny is the NL skip.

If I'm being completely honest, I'd probably give the nod to Wainwright, too.

Any predictions for the Derby tonight?

I just hope the new format makes it a bit more exciting than the last few years. Though, I have a bad feeling guys will run out of gas because of the bracket style.

I'll say Cespedes vs. Stanton in the final, but I'd like to see Puig get there for an all-Cuba matchup.

Careful before talking trash, the Dodgers are in the same position as the Braves right now
