I dunno I can't help but feel like something weird is going on here. After 2004 everyone hopped on the Red Sox bandwagon but it's not like they had 8 guys starting the all star game.

Also if this happens I wonder if MLB and the Broadcasters will acknowledge the stupidity of this or roll with it and say "the Royals are such a great team that they have 8 starters.." despite not being deserving.

If they want a gimmick to determine HFA, then give it to whichever League has the better Interleague record.

I'm sure that everyone was surprised by the news of the FBI/DOJ investigation into corporate espionage by the Cardinals.

Where do you think that this is going? This is an unprecedented event in pro sports as far as I know. At least American pro sports.

I don't think that stealing signals or spygate qualify as similar events.

Yeah, it will be interesting if they do send 8 starts to the all star game once voting is done. Just looking at it right now, Rios is 4th in voting for outfielders. That is just crazy to think about it. Alex Rios is the fourth best outfielder in the AL.

Fan voting is a joke. But I'm not really sure what the solution is. We've seen Managers pick the wrong guys too.

The braves are the team other teams play to turn their season around. I wouldn't be surprised if this decisive win gives Boston's season a shot in the arm.

Jeff Francouer, victim of a long line of prospects who came in overhyped, was good early, then faded away.

The hype for Francoeur was very driven by the media, I think SI put him on the cover in his rookie year?

He was a free swinging power hitter that pitchers eventually stopped underestimating and knew if they give him crap to hit he'll get himself out and he never seemed to adjust.

So Freddie Freeman left the game today with a sprained wrist and every Braves fan on twitter almost lost their mind thinking he got traded.

We score 16 one night, next night we manage just two hits against no name long relievers.

I really hate our offense, and everything about our team just screams a repeat of 2013. Thankfully the Mets aren't that good either. We could still win the division with 85 wins.

This year's Nats reminds me of last year's Atlanta team: great pitching but terrible hitting.

Someone check Higga for a pulse, please. Bryce Harper left the game after his left knee may have possibly exploded.
