Re: 2014 MLB Playoffs Thread
Clayton Kershaw had 8 earned runs in this one game. He had 8 in all of September, 8 in all of August, 7 in all of July, 6 in June (You get the point). Just goes to show that you can have the best regular season, but that only guarantees two postseason starts (if that). Kershaw picked a bad time to have his worst game of the year.

why in gods name would you tag up from second to third on such a shallow fly ball to the center fielder, hes already in scoring position with only one out!
great play, the royals have made a lot of those in this series

Re: 2014 MLB Playoffs Thread
Very realistic chance that all 4 games today will have a combined 4 run margin of victory. That's insane.

So frustrating. Angels are playing sloppy and are getting outplayed in every aspect of the game. Trout has been awful.

Disappointing from Trout and Pujols. That offense never showed anything.

The whole Angels team pretty much has been disappointing except for Kole Calhoun who's 4 for 10 with 0 walks and 0 strikeouts.
1) Mike Trout = 0 for 8 with 2 walks and 1 strikeout
2) Albert Pujols = 1 for 8 with 1 walk, 1 strikeout, and 1 RBI
3) Josh Hamilton = 0 for 9 with 2 strikeouts and 0 walks
4) Howie Kendrick = 1 for 9 with 4 strikeouts and 0 walks
5) Erick Aybar = 1 for 7 with 1 strikeout and 0 walks
6) C.J. Cron = 1 for 6 with 1 walk and 1 strikeout
7) Chris Iannetta = 1 for 7 with 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 1 HR, and 1 RBI
8) David Freese = 1 for 5 with 2 walks, 1 strikeout, and 1 RBI

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

If Clayton Kershaw allows more than three earned runs in the postseason, I'll eat my shoe.
You want some hot sauce with that?

I want a KC/BAL ALCS but this is why round 1 should be best of 7. Not sure why is taking MLB so long to get with the times.

I'm okay with being wrong. With as entertaining as the playoffs have been without getting out of the first week, I can cope with making some awful predictions.
With that said, each and every team is capable of a huge comeback (but hopefully not the Tigers, f*ck those guys).

Never seen anything like it.
he was cruising.
At least it wasn't in Game 5 in the top of the 9th like they did the Nats.
but yea...if this series was a 5 round boxing match. 10-8 Cards.
