There goes the chance of a LA/LA WS, let's hope the Giants end the chance of the Beltway series

I can so see the Nats pushing this to Game 5 and losing at home in 5.

O's vs. Royals, great matchup between two very likable teams. Will definitely be rooting for the winner of that one in the World Series.

This Angels team reminds me of the Yankees teams that bookend the WS in 09. Incredible hitters, a well-balanced lineup, decent rotation; but when the postseason arrives, they become anemic.

I hope the Royals can get to the World Series.

with Richards hurt, how was their rotation decent?

Devastated. Absolutely devastated. I was at both Games 1-2, stayed for ALL of Game 2.

It just isn't gonna happen for the Nats. On paper we look great but in October, our bats just fold.

I don't get why we pulled J-Z. He was dominating, and it wasn't like he was wild in that last walk to Panik. He got squeezed and it could have easily been a strikeout. Matt Williams has been brilliant all year but in the biggest moment, he gagged. And then Drew Storen, chance to redeem yourself, gags it up again.

I don't know what it is with this town, we're just allergic to winning.

And my girl is a huge Orioles fan too. Once again she'll have bragging rights. I hope the Royals kick their ass. I've always liked the Royals since Dayton Moore is a fellow George Mason alum.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Jered Weaver and Matt Shoemaker aren't chopped liver, man. They should've been able to make some headway against a team that didn't set the world on fire with their bats during the regular season.

We only had one game where our SP failed--and that was Game 3 with Wilson.

Runs are really hard to come by in this Giants/Nats series. Just one run scored over the last 13+ innings, that being the Giants' winning run in Game 2.

It may take a blast out of nowhere like Brandon Belt's homer to win this game.

I'm a fair weather Giants fan and have to agree with this. Giants are shut out all game with 20 batters retired in a row. Two outs in the 9th, a guy on first. No reason not to let Zimmerman face one or two more hitters. Zimmerman giving up a walk only looks bad compared to the last 6 flawless innings he pitched. I think if Zimmerman pitches out the game the Nats win.
