side note.
If Was happens to win today, who does Matt Williams give the ball to for game 5?

Strasburg, he actually didn't pitch that bad in game 1, Giants got a bunch of lucky ground ball hits and never hit anything hard

Really? I remember them hitting into hard outs all night. I wonder if there is anywhere we could find hard hit stats for that game.

Maybe, I just remember that other than the Panik triple (which may have been against the BP), most of all of the Giants hits were ground balls up the middle that just got past the infielders.

Jordan Zimmermann. He was only 1 out away from pitching a complete shutout game during Game 2.

I'm genuinely curious to see what the next commish will do to explore the whole umpiring/strike zone situation.

I know that they have faith in their crews to get the calls right, but between the expanded replay and the complaints about balls and strikes, I wonder if they'll look into something different.

Matt Kemp got jobbed on his last AB. Not gonna whine about how the umps were last night. But Rosentahl threw the same pitch back to back...literally the same pitch...the 1st one was a ball, the 2nd one rang Matt up.

considering the next two guys got hits, the game could have been 3-2 with runners at the corners or on 1st and 2nd with Uribe up to bat.

Apparently Kershaw stole Walter Johnson's nickname.

It'd be really nice of the Dodgers to back their best starter with some offense. Ya know, getting people on base and scoring runs and such.

They did it in Game 1, but I guess backing Kershaw into a corner is a better gameplan, right?

Well Shelby Miller is pitching really well so far, we all expected this to be a pitcher's duel.

If the Dodgers lose this series, Dee Gordon is going to get a ton of the blame

Don't forget Don Mattingly not knowing how to manage a bullpen to save his life.

Then again, his teacher wasn't exactly an expert at that, either.

So both teams should have challenged there, right ? Jay looked out and Wong was still in the batters box.

Mattingly going full potato and not challenging the throw out of Jon Jay.

thank the heavens Mike Matheny did not challenge Kolten Wong's foul ball to pick us up that inning.

could have saved Kershaw 3 or 4 pitches.

which is important to me.

i hear the game coming back on while we have a runner on base and i dunno how he got there.

not a fan of that call on replay.

the ball beat Andre but you can't see the actual tag from any angle.
maybe they had another angle in New York.
