Bryce Harper has six multi hit games already.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

i lold at the Angels working on getting swept by Oakland.
Dipoto should be fired.
gut the farm for 2 different arms?
those 2 arms aren't angels anymore?

So, what's the story on this brawl in Sandy Eggo? Was Carlos Quentin just being a baby, or was Greinke gunning for him?

Greinke wasn't throwing at him.

but apparently he has a history of dinging Quentin...Quentin was having none of it this time.

0-2 count earlier in the game, Marquis threw over Matt's head. So when you see the highlights, thats why he was beyond pissed off after Carlos charged the mound.

I have no explanation for what Hairston was doing.

Quentin is a bitch. If I'm a Dodger I'm looking for him after the game.

Dylan Hernandez ‏@dylanohernandez 3m

Kemp and Quentin face to face in the hallway.

As Quentin walked into the parking lot, Kemp told him, “We’ll see, bitch.”

The A's are raking

The #Athletics lead the Majors with 66 runs. The next closest AL teams (#Orioles and #Yankees) have 49.

#Athletics sweep the #Angels, outscoring them 28-11, and have won 8 in a row.

The #Athletics have 16 hits for the second straight night. Total on the season: 103, which leads the Majors.

- Jane Lee

The A's have outscored their opponents by 33 runs. Seven major league teams have not yet scored 33 runs.

The #Athletics finish the road trip 6-0, just the 3rd time in Oakland history the A's have gone undefeated on a trip of six or more games.

Big series vs. Det this weekend, well as "big" as big can be for an April series.

Pretty obvious that Quentin is not a fan of Greinke and they have a history (third time Zach has hit him). Greinke says something to Quentin before he charges the mound. There is no way that Greinke was trying to hit him, but once you know he's pissed off don’t poke the bear. Also some blame has to go to the catcher; it looked like he had time to get in front of Quentin.

I find it very hard to believe the Dodgers will be able to do much about this in later games. MLB just won't allow it, no reason to have an injured pitcher and then a suspended one. Only way I could see it is if they got some guy in the minors that can throw gas that they don't mind losing for a week. Obviously you don’t want to lose a starter or a Jensen.

Nats sweep the White Sox. BIG series this weekend against the Braves at home. Two best teams in baseball going at it.

Harps with another 2 hit game. MVP...MVP...

the unwritten rule of baseball is that pitchers don't apologize for dinging batters.

Carlos glared out to the mound and made it an issue.
then Greinke said something.

cliffs:
Carlos crowds the plate and gets hit by pitches.
He thinks Greinke cares or is worried about him because he hit him 4 years ago.

I would be **** ashamed if someone on the Giants did what Quinton did last night. If I'm a Padres fan (if that were a thing that exists), I'm finding it very difficult to watch him on my team in the future.

And this idiot will be back in a week. It's ridiculous.

Carlos Carrasco just got 8 games for hitting Youk a couple nights ago. I can only imagine what happens when Quentin's punishment is handed down.

Quentin gets 8 games.

The hammer has dropped. Major League Baseball will suspend Padres outfielder Carlos Quentin eight games for charging the mound during last night’s game against the Dodgers, according to Jeff Passan.
