Mets could be this year's 2012 Nats. They seem to have something magical going on.

 Well, in the regular season anyway.

Nats are just underachieving like crazy at the moment. Seems like they can't handle the pressure of being the World Series favorite.

"He knew the rules. Whatever much he signed for -- what did he get, again? -- he didn't have a problem signing his name," Bumgarner said. "He didn't have a problem with hitting then. I'm sure he had his pick of anywhere he wanted to go."

SMFH. Kershaw, don't let this dude speak up for YOUR National League. You lead the way.

but srs.
glad he spoke up and said that. shut up and learn to play the NL game.
some of us fans like it that way. jack ass

The series of events from Taveras' death, subsequent Shelby Miller trade to Waino blowing his achilles while at bat is astounding. Looks like a trade is inevitable.

^^^^^ I need to see some highlights of that game.

Oh, and the Wainwright injury sucks. I guess that makes Wacha the ace (or is Lynn the ace now?).

If the Yankees don't want to pay A-Rod the agreed upon marketing bonus, I feel they should forfeit the 2009 World Series title. He had a 224 wRC+ in those playoffs.

I'm still trying to figure out what bizarro world Cashman and the Steinbrenners are living in that they think this is even remotely okay.

Pay the man his f*cking money, especially since he's pretty much been singlehandedly responsible for at least five wins thus far this season. If there's anyone they should be asking for a refund from, it's CC Goddamn Sabathia.
